I installed UCCASS on my server (PHP4.3.X) and I really enjoy how simple and stable it works. Good work!

But I have a problem and I can't solve it, even after I read this forum and the documentation carefully.

I want to use your tool for surveys including qualitative answers. Unfortunately, when I use the Link "Export Results to CSV as Text..", the exported table does not include text entries like descriptions or stories etc.

Thanks to my studys of social sciences and due to the discussion in your forum, I estimate your approach to protect privacy issues. But is there a possibility to export text entries too to complete the CSV-Export?

I would like to have complete datas in rows, including ordinal, scalar etc. and individual text entries.

Please give me a hint how to fix it or where I can find more information about that.

Hi Florian,
from my use of the UCCASS the numeric/text option in the csv refers specifically to the multiple choice questions in which you could have either a tag (ie 1/0) or a label (yes/no etc...).

the option is just a switch to export either the tag or the label of your answers. (definitions are all done in the question types)
if you have short text question they come up as text both in the numeric or text format. for this reason i'm guessing you are referring to the other types of questions. make sure that you define both values and labels in your multiple choice type and you should be ok. (personally i suggest you to use numeric values as you can then code them as you like in your stats analysis package).
