dear all,
has anyone ever used URL-encoded variables to pass some details to the survey? what i mean is something like:

URL/survey.php?sid=XXmyInfo=xyz

and then pass on the myInfo variable in a non-editable text field or hidden text field in the first page of the survey. is this possible? any suggestion will be very much appreciated

You can do that and you can pass them to a form field, but the PHP processing script won't do anything with them. You'd have to hack something up for that.

would you be able to be more specific? as you know the code inside-out, how would you go about doing it?

do you happen to have an example or something similar by any chance? (this is also for everyone else in the forum! it would be very much appreciated)

thanks
